I have a bit of a problem. I don’t really like re-inventing the wheel, but I’m kind of a format snob. I can see in my head how I want stuff to look and I want it to look a very certain way. So even though I don’t like to re-invent activities, I often do to make them look how I want them to look.
This morning I was looking multiplication flash cards for my resource kiddos and nothing I could find had the answers on the cards. My kiddos don’t know their facts, and if they can’t check themselves, they’ll assume they are right and move on.
My basketball coach used to say (about foul shots) “practice doesn’t make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect!” So, I decided to create my own. As always, I took it a bit far. I decided there needed to be multiple versions – so I made horizontal and vertical cards. I also made sure that the cards showed the numbers in multiple ways, so I made the commutative version of the cards. I zipped it all into one big file and posted my first file to TPT! I’m very excited to start using the website to sell some of my stuff. Tell me what you think!
